How does an MTP Kit Work?

Medical Termination of Pregnancy or MTP kit is a medicinal kit consisting of two drugs used to terminate a pregnancy medically. Each kit consists of five tablets- one Mifepristone tablet (200 mg) and four Misoprostol tablets (200 mcg each). How does it work?

What are the side effects?
